Winds howled, snow accumulated and construction at Jackson Hole
Mountain Resort seemed quiet during January. Within the canvas and
steel tent at the site of the new bottom terminal, crews from Las
Vegas’ Gunderson poured 484 yards of concrete into what will become the
foundation and floor.

December Tram Diaries - Snowy Base Construction 12.01.07
Tim Mason, who runs Mountain Operations for the resort said the most
exciting moment of the month came when 15 inches of new snow fell. Both
Mason and General Manager Tom Spangler agreed that December was a
slow-moving month for construction and that people were mostly
concentrated on skiing.

October Tram Diaries - The Month of Concrete 10.01.07
October was a mixture of concrete and snow for crews working on dismantling old buildings and pouring new foundations. Crews completed pouring concrete for the counterweight "house" on top of Rendezvous Mountain during the month. They also finished pouring the
concrete pads on the upper terminal that support the walkway for
disembarking tram passengers as well as the bollard foundations.

September Tram Diaries - Clocktower Removal 09.01.07
People turned their grief of losing the iconic 82-foot clock tower
steeple at the base of Teton Village into opportunity this month. They
sawed the clock's hands and removed numbers for mementos of the old
tram's era the night before demolition started.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
(JHMR) officials announced today their intention to enhance the legacy
created over the last 40 years by committing to build a new 100
passenger, state of the art aerial tramway from the base in Teton
Village to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain, a vertical rise of
4,139'. This lift will have the longest continual vertical rise of any
ski lift in North America. It will replace the existing smaller aerial
tram that will cease to operate October 1, 2006.

Tram Replacement Options Narrow 02.01.06 The June 2005 decision to close
the Aerial Tram October 2006 was made following 18 months of
unprecedented evaluation into all facets of Tram operations by leading
industry engineers. The results required JHMR to make a decision
regarding ongoing tram operations. Although tough and emotional news,
JHMR is now focusing its attention on the future and feasible solutions
regarding tram replacement.
